Barham Crematorium supports Demelza House Childrens Hospice

A Metal recycling scheme for Crematoria was set up by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management in 2006 and there was a positive response from Crematoria across the UK. Since that time in 2006 the scheme has raised in excess of 3.8 million pounds for Charities nominated by each individual crematorium.

The Westerleigh Group operate their own Metal Recycling Scheme with the same Company as the ICCM. Each year Barham chooses the Charities which they would like to support and these are usually although not exclusively, Bereavement related.

Barham Crematorium has chosen on this occasion to support Demelza House who provide such wonderful support to seriously ill children and their families across Kent are very pleased to be able to make this donation. The Westerleigh Group is committed to supporting such vital services in the communities which we serve.
